Files to install on a Windows platform -------------------------------------- NOTE: Some versions of the SDK and/or driver, supplied as .MSI files, require the Windows Installer service to be present on your system. If your system does not recognise .MSI files as "Windows Installer Package", then you must update the Windows Installer on your system. To do this, download and run the Windows Installer redistributable appropriate to your system, from the "installer" directory. Windows NT4/2000/XP instmsiW.exe Windows 9x/ME instmsiA.exe You may also need to update the Windows Installer if the version number of the Windows Installer on your system is too low. 1. On all windows platforms, download the package admxrc-sdk-win32-x_y_z. This is the ADM-XRC software development kit, which allows you to develop applications for the ADM-XRC. Double click on the package to install it. 2. Download the ADM-XRC driver appropriate for the platform you intend to run your applications on: Windows NT4 admxrc-driver-winnt4-x_y Windows 2000/XP admxrc-driver-win2k-x_y You will need to install the driver in order to run applications. If the package is supplied as a self-extracting .EXE file, running it launches installation. If the package is supplied as a .ZIP file, instructions for installing it can be found within the .ZIP file.
